What if I don’t know which massage I need/want? 

Every massage is customized based on your intake form, or what you choose to share about your body. After reading your intake, finding out your pressure preference, and learning about any injuries you may have, your massage artist will craft an experience unique to you! We love hearing your specific requests, goals or any intentions.

Do I need to bring anything, or do anything to prepare?

We prefer if you bring or arrive wearing comfortable yoga pants, pajamas or loose-fitting clothing. We recommend drinking water ahead of time and arrive on a light stomach. 

In couples massage, will we be in the same room?

Yes, our couples massage experience is intimate, relaxing and innovative. You will be laying on the same massage mat, “cloud”, as your partner. 

Do you offer mobile massage and mobile yoga?

Yes, we offer mobile massage and yoga to those staying in Lionshead, Vail and Golden Peak village. We can travel outside of the village, however we need at least 24 hours notice to schedule this type of session. 

What do you call this style of massage? Can I find someone who does this specific style near where I live? 

What we offer at Sunshine Massage Studio is truly 100% unique and one-of-a-kind because the owner, Samantha Sunshine, is a massage inventor and has dedicated 13 years to massage innovation. This style is called “The Sunshine Technique” and there are several practitioners around the world trained in this style. What is the difference between the prices?

We don’t charge extra for deep tissue and we don’t change the price based on the time and season. We have the same price point per session length for sunshine signature massage, I love deep tissue, I love foot massage, children massage therapy, prenatal, inversion therapy, couples massage lessons, private yoga, Thai massage/sports stretching. 

We charge more for tandem couples massage, 4-handed massage, private sound healing, and mobile massage/mobile yoga. 

What is a Thai massage?

Thai massage is a combination of dynamic stretching and massage. After a Thai massage, you feel as if you’ve got to a yoga class and had a massage. The style of Thai massage we offer is slow, nurturing, and is centered around listening to your body’s range of motion and flexibility. 

Can I order a traditional massage on a table?

All of our massages are performed on a king size heated memory foam mat that feels like a cloud. To get better results and enhance your entire experience, we 100% recommend our set up and our goal is to redefine massage. We have eliminated the massage table from the practice because we generate better results with deep tissue, stretching and inversion therapies on the king size mat. 

Can I park at Sunshine Massage Studio?

The studio does not have it’s own parking. The closest parking is the Lionshead Welcome Center/ Lionshead transportation center. We have drop off/15 minute parking available in the inner semi-circle right outside the building, the concert hall plaza. If you are staying in golden peak, vail or lionshead village, we are an easy and free bus ride away.
